I started my career as an occupational therapist and have extensive clinical knowledge and experience of various physical and mental health conditions, the holistic nature of health and well-being and enabling people to overcome barriers, reach their full potential and engage in more meaningful activities, which has a direct impact on our minds and bodies. I have been able to use this knowledge and experience to enhance my hypnotherapy practice and the two therapeutic mediums certainly complement each other well.
I have always been fascinated by the holistic nature of health and well-being and after trying other therapies for anxiety and low self-esteem for years to no avail, a friend recommended hypnotherapy to me. I thought that was just for laughing at people being silly on stage! Oh how wrong I was, for the first time ever I felt free from unwanted and negative thoughts, had control of my anxiety and, most importantly, I learnt to love myself, both inwards & outwards. This is something I never thought would be possible and it is no exaggeration to say that for me, hypnotherapy was life-changing. This led to me wanting to train and enable others to have the same life-changing experience, and because I know how it feels to be sat in that chair, I can truly empathise with clients and I will make it my personal mission to do all I can to help you reach the outcome you desire!
I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and the Complimentary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), two professional bodies who ensure its members have been trained and practice to the highest of standards and abide by their Code of Ethics.
